Pam GillisDo you ever go through a period of preparing a dessert or an entrée and everything just seems to not work out or even be edible? That has been my dilemma lately! I tried a strawberry cake and then a fruit pizza. My pizza recipe had a crescent roll for the crust and it was horrible. My family were brutally honest and I took it in stride because I felt the same way. The strawberry cake was cooked too long and the icing was too thin. But I did not give up!

Today I prepared the Fruit Pizza again and it was a success! My confidence has been restored, at least today. This is a dessert that is very presentable and looks like you’re a pro when you complete! It is impressive for sure. Try this out and let me know what you think!! Doesn’t it look like Easter?

1 pkg. cookie dough
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 can mandarin oranges
Strawberries, kiwis, blueberries

Spread cookie dough flat onto a round pizza pan. Cook according to cookie directions. Let cool. Mix together cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar until creamy. Spread over cookie dough. Top with fruit.

**Placing parchment paper under the cookie dough before cooking will allow you to move your pizza onto a large platter to serve.
