Coffee wins region track championships in five events, set several season bests at region finals

Here are the results from the Region 2-5A track and field meet held this week in Albany:

• Kaloni Styles is the Region Champion in the 100 meter hurdle (15.23 seconds) & 300 meter hurdle (46.80 seconds) events.

• Kashariyona White is the Region Runner Up in the 100 meter hurdles (15.23) and 300 meter hurdles (47.42 seconds).

• Kenyon Livingston ran a time of 15.12 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles to become the Region Champion. Kenyon also is the Region Runner Up in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 41.59 seconds.

• Nahla Franklin established a new personal record with a time of 19.59 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles for an eighth place finish.

• Tyrese Woodgett is the Region Champion in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.91 seconds.

• Travis Adams is the Region Champion in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.36 seconds.

• Ensley Crawford is the Region Champion in both the 1600 meter run (5:25.23) and 3200 meter run (12:16.53).

• Iree Kennedy set 3 personal records by clearing 17 feet in the long jump to become the Region Runner up in the event.

• Kashariyona White cleared 34’3.25″ in the triple jump for a fourth place finish and qualified for state sectionals.

• Morgan Hines cleared 5’6″ in the high jump to qualify for state sectionals.

• The Trojan 4×400 meter relay team of Markel White, Tyler Dowling, Kenyon Livingston and Andre Brewton ran a time of 3:36.87 seconds to qualify for state sectionals.

• Ella Edge became an alternate for state sectionals in the discus with a throw of 77’3″ for a fifth place finish.

• Nyla Simpson set a new personal record in the discus with a throw of 72 feet and 1 inch for a sixth place finish.

• Nicole Lloyd cleared 33’11.5″ inches in the triple jump to claim sixth place.

• Mianna Mimi Paulk established a new personal record with a throw of 29’8″ in the shot put.

• J.D. Moore cleared 19’8″ in the long jump.

• The Lady Trojan 4×400 meter relay team of Amariyah Mari Wallace, La’Kia Wilson, Christina Smith, & Ti’Maya Warren finished with a season best time of 4:47.09.

• Ensley Crawford ran a time of 2:41.17 in the 800 meter run for a seventh place finish.

• Liam LeBroq finished the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:32.19 for a seventh place finish.

• Amariyah Mari Wallace ran the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:09.36 for an eighth place finish.

The following Coffee High School Track & Field athletes have qualified to compete at the State Sectional Meet in Villa Rica on May 3:

Girls 4×800 meter relay: Amariyah Mari Wallace, Regina Gigi Lewis, Nelbi Ambrocio & Kayden McCranie.

Girls 4×200 meter relay: Christina Smith, Garionna Nicole Lloyd, Ella Edge, & Kaloni Styles.

Girls 4×100 meter relay: Christina Smith, Garionna Nicole Lloyd, Ella Edge, & Kaloni Styles.

Boys 4×200 meter relay: Tyrese Woodgett, Jaquan Harrison, Tre Smith, Travis Adams.

Girls 1600 meter run: Ensley Crawford

Girls 3200 meter run: Ensley Crawford

Girls 100 meter hurdles: Kaloni Styles & Kashariyona White

Girls300 meter hurdles: Kaloni Styles & Kashariyona White

Boys 100 meter dash: Tyrese Woodgett

Boys 200 meter dash: Travis Adams

Boys 110 meter hurdles: Kenyon Livingston

Boys 300 meter hurdles: Kenyon Livingston

Boys 4×200 meter relay: Tyrese Woodgett, Travis Adams, Tre Smith & KJ DeBruce

Boys 4×100 meter relay: Tyrese Woodgett, Travis Adams, Tre Smith & Cedric McRae
