Coffee Regional Medical Center invites cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones to attend the next Oncology Support Group meeting on Tuesday, July 15, at 5:30 p.m. The July meeting will break from the speaker schedule and focus on “conversations and connections” amongst attendees.

Connecting with others who have faced or are presently facing similar challenges allows for a unique bond that will strengthen the group now and into the future.   CRMC welcomes and encourages you to bring your support system with you – they’re an important part of your journey. Expect to share and receive practical tips to overcome the daily challenges patients and caregivers face.  Come receive a sense of hope, empowerment and resilience.

“We encourage anyone touched by cancer to join us for this time of support and healing,” said Dr. Eric Anderson, Oncologist at CRH Oncology Group. “These monthly sessions are a reminder that no one has to face cancer alone.”

Future support group topics will include nutrition during and after treatment (August), the importance of exercise, and information about CRMC’s Oncology Wellness Program (September).

The session will take place on the second floor of the 200 Doctors Building, located on the Coffee Regional campus. For more information, contact The Wellness Center at (912) 383-6988.
