Officers serve search warrant on camper, arrest two on meth and gun charges

On August 6, 2025, at 8:45 a.m., officers from the Douglas-Coffee County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at 728 Cobblestone Road. The warrant had been signed the day before. Officers searched a camper on the property and arrested two individuals as a result.

During the search, officers found a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, scales, and five firearms. The two subjects, Brian Alexander, 57, and Christie Garcia, 53, were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Alexander was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

They were transported to the Coffee County Jail. Garcia was released on bond while Alexander remains incarcerated.
