The CCA Lady Patriots outscored Twiggs Academy (Thursday) and Vidalia Heritage Academy (Monday) by a combine score of 37-1. They defeated Twiggs Academy 17-1 on the road and Vidalia Heritage 20-0 at home. The Lady Patriots are now 15-3 on the season.

Brilynn Waldron scored four runs and drove in three. Cadence Cravey was 2-3 with three runs and two RBI. Emma Gourley went 2-4 with three RBI and a run. Gracie Giddens and Klair Mercer also had two hits, one of which was a triple.

Giddens threw a one-hit complete game, giving up one earned run and striking out three.

Against Vidalia Heritage Monday afternoon in Douglas, the Lady Patriots won in 2 ½ innings, scoring 16 in the first and four in the second. Waldron and Gourley both had inside-the-park home runs. Giddens doubled, tripled, and drove in four. She also scored twice. Abrah Harris was 2-2 with two RBI and two runs.

Giddens needed just 41 pitches to finish off Vidalia Heritage. She surrendered three hits and struck out two.

Tuesday, the Lady Patriots travel to Jesup for a game against the Wayne County Lady Yellow Jackets at 5:30 p.m.  CCA will be looking for revenge; the Lady Yellow Jackets handed the Lady Patriots their first loss of the season, one of only three teams to get the better of CCA this season.
