A 50-year-old Douglas man was arrested on several charges, including public indecency, after he allegedly chased a woman into a local restaurant and exposed himself to others at nearby convenience store.
The incident report states that on September 12, 2025, just after 3 p.m., a deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle call on Highway 221 North. He spoke to the suspect, Allen Sylvanius Green, 50, who was inside the location (a restaurant). In the report, Green said that was at the restaurant attempting to order a drink. The report says that Green’s pants were unbuttoned and his privates were visible.
As deputies investigated the call, witnesses stated that Green had followed a woman from her home in Oak Park to the restaurant. Green was outside the restaurant trying to get in but the doors were locked. Witnesses said that Green had tried to force himself on her, the report says.
Deputies searched Green’s vehicle and ultimately found a glass pipe used for smoking illegal drugs. Other officers went to nearby businesses to check surveillance footage to see if they could find evidence regarding the initial call. However, multiple people had called 911 about Green; he had allegedly been at other businesses using drugs in his vehicle.
Officers went to the Jet store on Highway 221 North and spoke to someone who said Green had been at the store “messing with his genital area.” The witness’s 14-year-old son had seen Green’s allegedly indecent act at the store. Deputies also learned that Green had previously been trespassed from the store, according to the report.
Green was arrested and charged with public indecency, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail, where he later posted bond and was released.
