Daniel Joseph “Scooter” Crenshaw, age 50, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Monday, November 10th, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness. Crenshaw was born on September 11, 1975, in Douglas City, GA to Daniel Crenshaw Sr. and Nancy Yvonne Smith Crenshaw.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 Years, Dina Pittman of Douglas, GA; two sons, Daniel Ray Crenshaw of Douglas, GA and Dwight Pierce Pittman of Douglas, GA; three daughters, Erica Dawn Crenshaw of Douglas, GA, Elizabeth Sky Tidwell of Douglas, GA, and Destiny Amber (Nathan) Vickers of Douglas, GA; sister in law, Carrie (Adam) Jewell; nine grandchildren, DJ, Morgan, Jo Jo, Briellia, Nyron, Tater Tot, Raylen, Kaylen, and Emma; one sister, Tammy (James) Wingate of FL; one brother, Hank Harper of FL; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Crenshaw Sr. and mother, Nancy Yvonne Smith Crenshaw.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Sims Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
