Earlier this month, Bobbie Jo Tinoco, 42, was arrested by deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office after she allegedly falsely reported that people were trying to breaking into her home.
According to an incident report from the sheriff’s office, on December 11, 2025, a deputy responded to a meet complainant call at a mobile home park in the Bethel community. The complainant, Tinoco, reported that someone has been attempting to break into her home. Another deputy had responded to the same location about an hour earlier, the report says.
According to the report, the second deputy asked Tinoco if she had taken any medicine or drugs. She replied that she only taken her prescribed medication but didn’t know exactly what it was. Tinoco had said that a pregnant neighbor told her that there were sounds coming from her home.
The deputy looked at both the front and back doors of the home. Both had locks and were secure, the report says. Also, there was no pregnant neighbor in the area.
Tinoco was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct during 911 calls or otherwise contacts 911 and makes a false report. She was transported to the Coffee County Jail and later released.
