A woman was arrested and jailed after she allegedly went to her ex’s house, broke a window, and punched another woman in the face who was at the house, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
The report states that on December 20, 2025, several deputies responded to a Spring Oak Street address in reference to the call. When deputies arrived, the woman, identified as Tarah Grace Beck, 26, of Douglas, was at the scene arguing with her ex-boyfriend. The report states that the two had an on-again, off-again relationship but had broken up the night before. Beck went to her ex’s house that morning and saw another woman’s car in the driveway.
The report says that she allegedly broke a window under the carport with her hand then punched the other woman in the face. The other woman had marks on her face and Beck had cuts on her hand, the report says. Beck’s daughter was also in the vehicle with Beck when she went to the house, according to the report.
Beck was arrested and charged with simple battery and criminal damage to property. She was transported to the Coffee County Jail then taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center for treatment for her hand injuries. After being treated at the hospital, she was taken back to the jail and later released.
