Tony Lott, age 84, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on January 31, 2026, at Savannah Memorial Hospital.
Tony was born on July 16, 1941, in Willacoochee, Georgia, to Odis and Emmie Lott. Tony lived his life with humility, kindness, and a heart full of love for his family.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon Joiner Lott, and together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Tony was a devoted father to Mark (Allison) Lott and Tonia (Chad) Guthrie, and a proud grandfather to Josh (Kellie) Lott, Cody Lott, Jarod Gaff, Amber Gaff, Jadyn (Gavin) Hall, Helen Williams, and Emily Williams. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Additionally, he leaves behind a very special sister-in-law, Patti ( Timmy) Miller. She was his sidekick that kept him entertained and they had many adventurous days together full of laughter.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Emmie Lott, and his father and mother-in-law, Junior and Polly Joiner; his sister, Frances Vickers; and his brother, David Lott.
He enjoyed fishing and nothing meant more to him than time spent with his family, especially his grandkids. He leaves behind a legacy of deep love, simple faithfulness, and a family forever comforted by the memories of a man who loved well and never failed to tell you, “I love you too!”
In lieu of flowers make donations to Douglas Christian Fellowship in memory of Tony.
