Stay informed and get involved! The City of Douglas encourages citizens to attend public meetings or consider joining a volunteer board. Below is the March 2026 schedule for boards and committees. All meetings are open to the public, and your participation is always welcome.
Currently, the City of Douglas is looking for one volunteer for the Keep Douglas Beautiful Board (KDB). KDB, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, aims to promote environmental sustainability and educate the community to act every day. The mission of the board includes increasing safety, reducing litter in open spaces and waterways, improving recycling efforts, and maintaining the beauty of Douglas. The volunteer should live in the city limits of Douglas.
