The 4th Annual Wings & Things Festival and Fly-In takes off Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Douglas Municipal Airport (KDQH). Hosted by Visit Douglas–Coffee County GA and the Douglas–Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, this family-friendly event offers free entry and a full day of aviation, attractions, and activities for all ages.
Wings & Things features antique airplanes, military vehicles, WWII reenactors, arts & crafts vendors, food trucks, a kids play area, and live music throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy the popular Hot Wing Contest and car show, making the festival an all-in-one spring outing for locals and visitors alike.
Aircraft ride experiences will be available for purchase at the event, and online beforehand, including:
• Huey helicopter rides: $85
• PT-17 Stearman (open-air biplane): $150
• PT-19 Fairchild: $295
• Piper Warrior (seats up to 3): $150
Beyond the fun, Wings & Things is rooted in the community’s aviation story and its future. Coffee County has a proud World War II connection, and the festival is a way to honor that history while introducing a new generation to aviation through living-history experiences, vintage aircraft, and hands-on activities. The event also spotlights the Douglas Municipal Airport as a growing community asset—helping build awareness for airport development, attracting aviation interest, and supporting economic growth. By bringing visitors to Coffee County and showcasing the region’s hospitality, the festival helps strengthen local tourism while also supporting efforts to recruit new industry and investment.
With more than 5,500 attendees last year, Wings & Things has quickly become one of Coffee County’s biggest spring events—bringing together aviation fans, families, and anyone who loves a fun day outdoors.
