Douglas police officers arrested a 45-year-old after they discovered suspected illegal drugs in a vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to an incident report from the Douglas Police Department, on March 1, 2026, just after 10 p.m., a DPD officer stopped a 2011 Chrysler 300 being driven by Tyrandal Grady, 28, because he was driving with no headlights. During the stop, officers discovered suspected illegal drugs in the passenger’s floorboard. Timothy Davis, 45, of Douglas, was sitting in the passenger’s seat, according to the report.
Officers tested the drugs and the test came back positive for MDMA. Davis was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released.
