Garry Blair of Douglas, an employee at the Douglas Tractor Supply location, has been selected as a Going the County Mile winner, an honor celebrating Tractor Supply team members who go above and beyond to support customers, communities, and animals.
Garry was recognized for developing a friendship with a customer while delivering a mower. When the man suffered a heart attack shortly after, Garry returned with a crew to mow and maintain the man’s lawn, ensuring the property looked its best for the man’s visiting family while he recovered.
Tractor Supply’s Country Mile program highlights everyday actions that bring the company’s mission and values to life. Team members across stores, distribution centers, the Store Support Center and Petsense locations nominate peers for making a meaningful difference – whether by helping a customer, supporting a teammate or responding in a critical moment.
Launched in 2015, the program progresses from daily badge nominations to monthly and quarterly recognition, with top winners selected as annual honorees.
More than 750,000 Going the Country Mile badges were awarded in 2025 alone, reflecting the program’s growth and the continued commitment of team members to their communities. Garry was one of 20 annual winners celebrated at Tractor Supply’s Annual Sales Meeting in Nashville and received recognition for his efforts in front of his peers.
