Hunter Klesko homered, drove in four, and scored three times while Conley McDaniel also homered, drove in three, and scored twice in the Coffee Trojans’ 16-5 win over the Crisp County Cougars Monday in Cordele.
The Trojans got the final week of the regular season off to a good start, scoring in every inning but the fifth. Coffee amassed 11 hits while holding Crisp to just five.
Eli Vickers earned the win with a three-inning outing. He allowed one unearned run on three hits while striking out two and walking three. Carter McMillan and Will Day also pitched for Coffee.
Jimmy Timothy and Taeven Harden had two hits. Wesley Hood scored twice and Ben Fussell drove in two.
The Trojans are 16-11 with two games remaining, both of which are at home: a 6 p.m. showdown today with Lowndes and a Friday rematch with Crisp, also at 6 p.m.
