Marilyn Hand, age 86, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Vista Park Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Hand was born on June 19, 1939 in Douglas, GA to the late James Henry Roberts and the late Mattie Sears Roberts.
Her survivors include: one son, Andrew Hand of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, Corrie (Dylan) Stephenson of Alpharetta GA and Justin Hand of Smyrna, GA; and one great-granddaughter, Rose Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman L. Hand Jr.; one son, Hal Hand; daughter, Teresa Anderson; son in law, Kerry Anderson; father, James Henry Roberts; and mother, Mattie Sears Roberts.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Denton City Cemetery at 11:00 AM, with Mr. Victor Worth officiating. Interment will follow at Denton City Cemetery.
