The annual 4th of July Freedom Fest will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. To ensure this cherished community event continues to be a success, the City is seeking sponsors to help fund the fireworks display that brings joy to thousands each year. The city is currently reaching out to potential sponsors and vendors who would like to be part of making this year’s celebration truly memorable.
“The annual Freedom Fest is a highly anticipated tradition in Douglas and Coffee County,” says City Manager Charlie Davis. “We are asking business owners and organization leaders to support this year’s fireworks show. This display would not be possible without the generosity of local organizations and businesses.”
The Freedom Fest Celebration will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Jardine Stadium in JC Adams Municipal Park. The event will include vendors and a fireworks show at dark.
Vendors interested in attending should contact Blondale Thomas at (912) 383-0277 or email bthomas@cityofdouglasga.gov. Businesses or organizations interested in sponsoring the event should contact Charlie Davis at (912) 389-3401or email cdavis@cityofdouglasga.gov. Sponsors who wish to be included on event banners, should make a commitment no later than Friday, June 12, 2026.
