Last month, drug investigators learned that illegal drugs were allegedly being sold from a Timberwood Lane address.
Officers launched an investigation that led to the arrest of two individuals – a suspect who was believed to be selling drugs and the owner of the property. Based on the findings of the investigation, Edwin Lee Swinson, 47, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
Officers arrested Ashanti Samone Glover, 30, as well. Glover was the owner of the property at which the drugs were allegedly sold.
Both were booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released.
