Deputies arrested a Douglas woman on illegal drug charges after she was arrested because she had an active warrant through the sheriff’s office, according to an incident report.
The report says that on May 27, 2026, at 7:38 p.m., a deputy saw Sabrina Faye Evans, 48, of Douglas driving a white F-150. The officer knew that Evans had an active warrant through the sheriff’s office so he pulled the pickup over. Evans gave consent to search the vehicle, stating that there was nothing illegal in it.
The deputy searched the pickup and found a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine. A drug detective arrived on the scene and took over the investigation. Evans was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and booked into the Coffee County Jail. She was later released.
