Mr. Rickie Elliot Carver, age 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 17, 2026, at Pruitt Health – Ocilla following a lengthy illness.
Rickie was born July 2, 1959, in Douglas, Georgia, to the late Willie Elliot Carver and the late Margaret Rowell Carver. He was a natural outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and just being outdoors. He also had a great fondness for antiques and was a collector when his health allowed. He was of the Baptist faith.
Along with his parents, Rickie was preceded in death by four siblings: Henry Carver, Robert Carver, Linda Carver, and Kathy Carver.
Rickie leaves behind two children: Brooke Hill and husband, Eddie, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Spencer Carver of Wray, Georgia; two grandchildren: Brookelyn Dennard and husband, Tyler, Edward “Roland” Hill; two great-grandchildren: EllieMae Dennard, Oakley Dennard; four siblings: Virginia Miragliotta and husband, Angelo, of Yulee, Florida, Gerald Carver of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Randy Carver and wife, Tina, of Douglas, Georgia, and Calvin Carver of Douglas, Georgia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A graveside funeral service and interment will be held to honor Rickie on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Chatterton Grove Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Green officiating.
