John Wesley Worth, age 65, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at his residence. John was born on April 18, 1961, in Brewton, AL to Robert Worth and the late Hazelean Carver Worth.
Survivors include: his beloved Wife, Judy Worth of Broxton, GA; father, Robert Worth of Douglas, GA; three sons, Jeremy (Sara) Worth of Augusta, Robert (Tracy) Thomas of Columbus, and John Belflower of Ashville, NC; two daughters, Angel Worth of Augusta and Faith Owens of Tifton; ten grandchildren: Riley Worth, Kinsey Worth, Paige Cosse, Brianna Cosse, Kimberly Cosse, Judith Belflower, Amber Hall, Christian Owens, Kory Childers, and Kyler Childers; and one brother, Glynn (Mary) Worth of Douglas. He was preceded in death by: mother, Hazelean Carver Worth; brother, Lamar Worth; and sister, Linda Silvery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Sims Chapel in Douglas, GA with Jeremy Worth officiating. Interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.
