Douglas police officers arrested a woman following a domestic dispute on Daughtry Avenue during which she allegedly hit her boyfriend twice.
A report describing the incident states that on June 6, 2026, at around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a North Daughtry Avenue address in reference to a domestic incident. The report says that a male and a female at the home were arguing. The male victim says that he got up to leave the property during the argument when the female, Tiffany Cabanas, 38, of Douglas, hit him more than once.
According to the report, Cabanas said that the male took her phone during the argument and wouldn’t give it back. That’s when she hit him in the back. The report says that the male had two large red marks in the shape of a hand on his back.
Cabanas was arrested and charged with battery. She was booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released on $500 bond.
