Wanda Gail Howell, age 63, of Broxton, GA, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, June 21, 2026. She was born on June 1, 1963, the daughter of the late Mr. Spencer Carl Sellers and the late Mrs. Quincy Faye Strickland Sellers.
Her survivors include four daughters: Teresa Faye (Reyes) Surrency, Bobbie Jo (Louis) Narvaez, Abby Gail (Victor) Fernandez, and Brittany Surrency of Douglas, GA; nine grandchildren: Kaitlyn Narvarez, Daisy (Joey) Surrency, Cesar (Delana) Tinoco, Erica (Skyler) Louis, Nathan Fernandez, Wanda Sue Surrency, Hazel Tanner, Kah’marion Clark, and Harmonii Clark; six great-grandchildren: Kallie Castillo, Ada Castillo, Arabella Castillo, Si’kei Fernandez, Logan Louis, and Charlie Castillo; two sisters, Christine Overby and Teresa (Lupe) Perez; and one brother, Larry Sellers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joe Howell; grandchild, Rodney Dillon Surrency; two sisters, Gloria Howell and Tammy Sellers; one brother, Richard Sellers; father, Spencer Carl Sellers; and mother, Quincy Faye Strickland Sellers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
The interment will take place at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
