A 35-year-old and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Sellers Feed and Seed in Hazlehurst in which several guns were stolen. Authorities are searching for a third suspect.
A report from the Hazlehurst Police Department states that on June 23, 2026, officers responded to Sellers at 5:20 a.m. in reference to a burglary. When the first officer arrived, he saw the front glass door had been shattered and a black firearm was on the ground in front of the business.
Another police officer and several Jeff Davis County deputies arrived along with the complainant. Security camera footage showed that the suspects had fled the scene. The security cameras showed two men break the front glass door, go inside, then leave the same way.
The report states that the suspects took six handguns. Officers later arrested a 14-year-old juvenile and Terrence J. Harrison, 35, of Hazlehurst. Both were charged with burglary and theft by taking. A third suspect is wanted in connection with the incident.burg
