On June 26, 2026, a Douglas woman was arrested and charged with pedestrian under the influence after she allegedly crossed East Baker Highway illegally then disposed of an alcoholic beverage she was drinking.
According to a report from the police department, Terisa Speziali, 50, of Baxley, was at a local business on East Baker Highway around 3 p.m. on June 26, The report says she was making customers and employees uncomfortable so the responding officer asked her to leave.
When she did, the report says, she crossed the road at a spot not designated for pedestrians while oncoming traffic was approaching. The officer approached her again and noticed an empty can of Four Loko lying on the ground. She admitted to drinking the beverage.
The officer charged her with pedestrian under the influence and transported her to the Coffee County Jail. She was booked into the jail and released.
