Two individuals were arrested following a domestic incident that occurred on Alderman Drive on June 16, 2026.
The incident report states that around 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic dispute and a gun may be involved. The officers arrived and spoke with Kendrick Omarion Alexander, 19, of Douglas, and Larenzi Reed, 19, of Douglas. The two have a child together and had been arguing, the report says.
The argument began because Alexander was allegedly late picking up Reed from work. They arrived at Alderman Drive and Reed attempted to drive away, the report says. However, Alexander allegedly jumped on the hood of the vehicle. Alexander stated that he jumped on the hood because she tried to run him over. Reed drove down the road with Alexander on the hood, the report says. Alexander hit the windshield with his fist in order to get her to stop, according to the report.
Reed drove back to the Alderman Drive address and locked herself in the house. She also broke Alexander’s PlayStation 5, the report says. Alexander then broke a television belonging to Reed, according to the report.
Reed alleged that Alexander hit her during the argument but, the report says, officers could see no signs of her having been assaulted. Alexander also had an AR-style rifle which officers gave to his mother.
The officers arrested both Reed and Alexander and transported them to the Coffee County Jail. Reed had an active warrant through the county. She was charged with criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree and an affray warrant. She was released on a $5,500 bond for the criminal damage to property charge and a $500 bond for the affray charge. Alexander was charged with criminal trespass – family violence and released on a $500 bond.
