After two decades, Hungry Howie’s is closing its doors.
In a post made to its Facebook page early Monday, the owners have decided to call it a career. Hungry Howie’s has been located on North Peterson Avenue the entire time it has been open.
The Facebook statement reads as follows:
“After 20 incredible years, it’s time for us to say goodbye.
“We simply want to say thank you to our customers. You were never just customers — you became friends, neighbors, and family. You celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and everyday moments with us, and we are truly honored that you chose to make us a part of your lives.
“Your loyalty, kindness, and support made our dream possible. Every pizza we served came with gratitude for the community that stood behind us for two decades.
“While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories we’ve shared will stay with us forever.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 20 amazing years. We will always be grateful and will never forget this wonderful community.”
The post did not say when the last day of operation would be.
