Linda Gail Bush, age 76, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 18, 1950, the daughter of the late Mr. A.J. and Corbitt and the late Mrs. Estelle Corbitt.
Her survivors include: one brother; Ricky (Nancy) Corbitt of Lyons, GA, three grandchildren; Raily Bush, Deanne Bush and Elizabeth Bush, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband; Charlie Bush, son; Brian Bush, father; A.J. Corbitt, mother; Estelle Corbitt, two brothers; Emory Corbitt, and Kenneth Corbitt, and one sister; Betty Hersey.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 2:00 PM with Rev. B.J. Holliday officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include: A. J. Corbitt, Trent Corbitt, Chris Corbitt, Jayce Corbitt, Jason Williams, and Chad Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will include: Andy Corbitt, Josh Corbitt and Ethan Corbitt.
