Terry Elaine Johnson, age 66, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born on May 3, 1960, the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Wood and the late Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Wood.
Her survivors include one brother, Dana Johnson; ten nieces and nephews: Desmond Johnson, Shawana Johnson Boudreaux, Marie Johnson, Jeris Layrisson, Rhett Johnson, Corey Johnson, Kiersten Schnider, Taylor Ikerd, Daniel Wasley, and Andrew Johnson. She was preceded in death by father Charles Wood, mother Evelyn Johnson Wood, and brother Raymond Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Chris Calhoun officiating.
