Jimmy Miller Jr., age 50, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026. He was born January 5, 1976, in Douglas, Georgia, to Barbara (Grantham) Miller and the late Jimmy Miller Sr.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Barbara Grantham Miller of Broxton, Georgia; sister, Michele (Miller) McCallem (Hal) of Wray, Georgia; son, Jimmy (Trace) Miller III (Rayna) of Axson, Georgia; daughter, Carlee Miller Worth (Nate) of Fitzgerald, Georgia; one grandson, Tripp Miller; two nephews, Josh Taylor (Elizabeth) of Wray, Georgia, and Jake Taylor (Lauren) of Fitzgerald, Georgia; two great-nephews, Jack and Walt Taylor; and two great-nieces, Ellie Jo and Emerie Ruth Taylor.
Jimmy is preceded in death not only by his father but also by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Doris (Carter) Grantham Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lester and Lillian Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday in the chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM before the service. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Providence Cemetery in Broxton, GA, with Rev. Loyd Burkett officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Broxton, GA.
Active pallbearers will include Trace Miller, Scot Harkleroad, Justin Justice, Steven Day, Conner Waldron, and Randy Ellis.
Honorary pallbearers will include CCA’s graduating class of 1994.
