Angie O’Steen, a registered nurse, family farmer, and community leader, has qualified to run for the state House of Representatives District 169 seat.
Monday afternoon, O’Steen released the following statement: “After receiving numerous phone calls and texts, seeking wise counsel, and a whole lot of prayer, I’m excited and proud to officially announce my candidacy for House District 169. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue Clay Pirkle’s extraordinary work to fight for Coffee, Irwin, Turner and Tift counties. As your Representative, I will fight for our South Georgia conservative values and work to lower costs, improve rural healthcare, strengthen public safety, invest in our education system and defend our God-given rights. I will work to represent every constituent in House District 169 through consistent hard work and sincerity. I am a person of deep, abiding faith and I certainly appreciate your prayers. I will work every day to earn your support as my family and I set forth in this journey of continued service to the GREAT people of South Georgia. Thank you, and God bless!”
