The Douglas Kiwanis Club will have its annual chicken que on Tuesday, September 30. The meal will consist of half chicken bbq plates with baked beans, coleslaw, bread, and cake.  The cost is $9.  Checks should be made payable to the Kiwanis Club.   Cash will be accepted and all  proceeds will go to fund Kiwanis youth projects in Douglas and Coffee County.  The meal will be prepared by Flying Cowboy on 441 South.

Tickets are available from Kiwanis members.  School system employees can purchase tickets at all schools and the board of education.  Tickets are also on sale at Edward Jones on Madison Avenue and State Farm Insurance on the Baker Highway. Deliveries will be made by the Kiwanis Club for ten or more orders.  Plates may be picked up at the Flying Cowboy from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m.

For any questions, call George Blampied at 384-9263.
