The Douglas Fire Department participated in the 2014 Safety and Wellness Festival and promoted Fire Safety Week, October 5 – 11.
Fire department personnel visited several preschools during Fire Prevention Week and spoke to the preschoolers about fire safety and the importance of working smoke alarms.Additionally, an art contest was held, and the winners from Westside Elementary School and their classmates are pictured below.
