Benjamin “Benjie” Roy Dyal, 50, of madison, FL, passed away suddenly on November 17, 2014, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Madison. Benjie was born February 20, 1964 in Wauchula, FL, to James and Francis (Floyd) Dyal.

Benjie was the pastor at New Home Baptist Church in Madison County for the last ten years. He loved his family and church family. He enjoyed fishing and was the Head Coach of the Southern Starz Travel softball team. He also loved talking and being around people. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents James and Francis Dyal, his sister Diane Dyal and his grandmother-in-law Vera Carver.
Benjie is survived by his wife Denise Carver Dyal of 15 years of Madison, FL a daughter Cali Dyal of Madison, FL, a brother Eddie Dyal of Hazelhurst, GA, his father and mother-in-law Carroll Carver and Ruth Carver, and a sister-in-law Becky Carver all of Douglas, GA, as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Madison. There will also be a visitation from 1-3 P.M. at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA with the funeral service to be held at St. Illa Baptist Church in Douglas at 4 P.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 with Dr. Ben Glosson and Mr. Kevin Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in St. Illa Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglas.
