Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Festival now accepting vendors

The Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Festival will be held in Douglas on Friday, April 10 and on Saturday, April 11, 2015. The outdoor event will feature all types of event vendors relating to arts & crafts, food, motorcycles, BBQ, aviation and more. Activities will include a BBQ competition, NAPA/Brooks Auto car show, motorcycle show, poker run, displays of vintage aircraft, and live blues music bands with Friday headliner Albert Castiglia and Saturday headliner The Victor Wainwright Band.

“We are seeking all types of vendors for this event ,” says Georgia Henderson, Public Information Department Director. “We already have a few vendors signed up, but, we need a variety of vendors, especially those directly related to this event, to make this event a success.”

General vendor fees are $100 for a 20X20 space, $150 for a 20X40 space, and $200 for a 40X40 space. All general vendors will be outdoors on the airport grounds and will need to provide their own tent, tables, and chairs. Food vendor fees are $150 for a 20X20 space, $200 for a 20X40 space, and $250 for a 40 X40 space. The food vendor fee includes the $50 temporary food permit fee, which is required by the local Health Department. Festivities will begin at 1pm on Friday, April 10th, at the Douglas Municipal Gene Chambers Airport on 441 South. On Saturday,April 11th, the Festival will be open to the public from 9am–5pm. General gate admission is $5.00 per person, $3.00 with military ID, 12 & under FREE!
