Margaret Ann Whitley Kirkland, age 61, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Genesis Hazlehurst Center, Hazlehurst, GA following an extended illness. Mrs. Kirkland was born on November 23, 1953, in Alma, GA to the late James David Whitley and Willene Durrence Whitley. She is the Widow of the late Patrick Kirkland.

Survivors include: her two daughters, Rhonda (Roger) Pease of Douglas, GA and Melissa (Ethan) Rogers of Douglas, GA, a brother, Larry Whitley of Douglas, GA and sister, Linda Shepard of Lucedale, Miss., four grandchildren: Christopher Rogers, Ethan Rogers II, Patrick Pease, and Aaron Pease, four great grandchildren; Christopher Rogers II, Carissa M Rogers, Payton Rogers, Susan W. Rogers and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. at Harvest Time Church of God with Rev. Levi Jones, Rev. Kevin Sanders and Rev. Matt Cason Officiating.
