Rev. Winston Wright, age 75, of Axson, GA passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Wright was born on September 30, 1939, in Homerville, GA to the late Horace Wright and Huldia Morgan Wright.

Survivors include: his wife, Mattie Lee “Mat” Wright of Axson, GA; son, Kevin W. (Beth) Wright of Ambrose, GA; three daughters, Karen W. Spivey of Axson, GA, Angie W. (Chris) Portwood of Smyrna, GA; and Candace W. Ruis of Moultrie, GA; two sisters, Glaydeen Murray of Axson, GA and Carlene Spier of McDonough, GA; eight grandchildren, Morgan Spivey, Walton Spivey, Jonathan Wright, Jordan Wright, Caris Ruis, Cammi Ruis, Chace Ruis and Anslee Portwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 and Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Holiness Baptist Campground with Rev. Joe Vaughn, Rev. Leroy Spivey, and Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating.

Interment will follow at Jowers Cemetery.
