Satilla Library System announces May youth events

Satilla Regional Library will be holding the following programs during the month of May for children and teens. Come and join the fun at Satilla Regional Library.

For more information about upcoming children and teen programs please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222.  

Audio Spot Auditions for Children and Teens Ages 9-18 years

Come and audition for a public service announcement to possibly be played on the radio promoting our new children’s and young adult books. Auditions will be held at all locations in Douglas, Broxton, Ambrose, Pearson, Willacoochee, and Nicholls. Please call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to schedule an appointment at any of our locations.

Board Games, Cards, and Puzzles for Children and Teens

All branches include an assortment of board games, cards, and puzzles that can be played at any time. Come and check one out to use at each location.

Saturday, May 9 and 23 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
These meetings are held in Douglas for teens who want to have a great time with other teens planning teen library programs, young adult reads, fun activities, opportunities for volunteering, and taking a leadership role. Come join us for these teen meetings. Fun for all teens.
