Wiregrass Georgia Technical College President Dr. Tina K. Anderson, recently recognized employees for their years of service during a staff/faculty meeting.

Those recognized for their years of service to the college are as follows: Tammy Groover (Valdosta campus) Practical Nursing Instructor – 25 years, Thomas M. Moody (Ben Hill-Irwin campus) Industrial Systems Technology Program Coordinator – 10 years, Tommy Ponsell (Coffee campus) Commercial Truck Driving Program Coordinator – 10 years, Lawton Lovett (Ben Hill-Irwin campus) Director of Facilities – 10 years, Lu Mullis (Coffee campus) Medical Assisting Instructor – 5 years, and Kim McMillan (Valdosta campus) – 5 years.

Wiregrass’ mission is workforce development by promoting community, educational and economic development in the 11-county service area here in South Central Georgia.  Without valuable hard working staff this mission would be hard to accomplish.
