In recognition of Earth Day, Wal-Mart teamed up with Westside School and made a difference this past Wednesday.

Wal-Mart employees came and provided plants and mulch to help in planting a new spring flowerbed at the entrance of the school, and all kindergarten classes participated in the Earth Day celebration.

Westside would like to thank Wal-Mart, with a special thanks to Ms. Sheila Merritt and other local store employees for your support.  We love Wal-Mart and we love our Earth!

Pictured above representing Wa-Mart Supercenter are Sheila Rish, Tiffany Fulp, Lisa Giddens, Scott Bush, Laura Spivey, Matthew Frost, Shirley James, Sederia Robinson, Jackquelyn Smith, Renisha Williams, Rose Griffis, Johnnie Walker, and Alexis Sutton, along with Westside’s kindergarten classes.
