Bobby Leverette, age 81, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Leverette was born on July 25, 1933, in Ambrose, GA to the late Felton Griffin Leverette and Jessie Lee Paulk Leverette.

Survivors include: his wife, Elise Leverette of Ambrose, GA; two sons, Britt Nicholas (Edy) Leverette of Willacoochee, GA and Felton Clark (Dinah) Leverette of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Bobbie Denise (Dan) Paulk of Ambrose, GA; eleven grandchildren, Brandi Paulk Davis, Alison Paulk, Jessi Brooker, Bobbie Bell “B.B.” Brooker, Farah Leverette (Hugh) Smith, Lisa Lee Leverette (Morgan) Lott, Amy Smith (Chad) Ables, Christopher Nicholas (Jessica) Harper, Amber Leverette, Leah Leverette, and Ty Leverette; ten great grandchildren, Felton Harper, Dani Carter, Huntington Smith, Walker Clark Smith, Eliza Lee Lott, Garner Morgan Lott, Seth Ables, Raven Ables, Sam Ables, and Griphyn Harper; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Lee Leverette Smith.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Carver and Rev. Doralyn Paulk officiating.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
