Ms. Jessie Lee Adams Anderson Smith, age 82, of Douglas passed away early Wednesday morning, June 3, 2015, at the home of her daughter, Peggy White, in Glenwood, Georgia, following an extended illness.

She was born March 5, 1933 to the late Charlton Adams and the late Estelle Nipper Adams. She had worked with Coca Cola Bottling Company in Waycross, Ga., Brunswick, Ga., and Jacksonville, Florida. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Anderson and second husband, Luther Bell, as well as 2 Brothers, L. C. Adams, Jr., and J. D. Adams, 4 Sisters, Ruth Adams, Gertrude Adams, Louise Kirkland, and Deborah Trowell.

Ms. Smith was a member of the Chatterton Grove Holiness Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her Children: Willis Anderson of Valdosta, Ga., Lewis (Nicki)Anderson of Waverly, Ga., Peggy (Larry) White of Glenwood, Ga., Billy Griffith of Valdosta, Ga., and Linda (William) Selph of Broxton, Ga.; 9 Grandchildren, and 18 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 11:00 A. M., at the Chatterton Grove Holiness Baptist Church, with Rev. Rob Merritt officiating. The Interment will follow in the Chatterton Grove Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
