The Coffee County Drug Unit has arrested two individuals, Ellis Bernard Robertson and Farrah Ann Carter, on drug possession charges. Investigators with the CCDU and K-9 Unit arrived at Robertson and Carter’s Nicholls residence, located at 110 Southern Grapevine Road, to execute a search warrant last Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. Robertson and Carter were at the property when investigators arrived to conduct the search, which resulted in the discovery of quantities of suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, and hydrocodone. The Coffee County Drug Unit recently charged Quashaw Marqise Tucker of Douglas with multiple drug offenses following the execution of a residential search warrant. Investigators with the CCDU and the K-9 unit arrived at the home, located on Davis Avenue, on Monday, October 17, just before 11:00 a.m. to conduct the search. As a result, the CCDU discovered a variety of suspected drugs inside the residence, including quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, Oxycodone (a Schedule II controlled substance), and a large quantity of marijuana. This morning, Matt Lewis pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence connected to the 2020 death of Vann Brown. After court was adjourned, those who were still in the courtroom witnessed an emotional moment as Vann Brown’s mother got up from her seat, and walked over to Lewis, who had just walked into a hallway, to hug him. Norell Bolden of Pearson is facing perjury charges after she allegedly lied under oath as a witness during a hearing for her boyfriend, Carlton Speight, in July. Bolden reportedly testified that she spoke to the arresting officer during Speight’s arrest. However, the officer claimed that his bodycam footage proved otherwise. Raquon Tucker, 25, was recently charged with aggravated assault after he reportedly almost ran into a deputy and then fled before running his vehicle into a swamp. According to the report, Tucker told the deputy he ran because he was smoking a joint. A motion for the charges indicted on De’Myjae Manley, a suspect in an armed robbery and assault that occurred on North Madison Park Avenue, was recently denied in the Superior Court of Coffee County.
