I’m sorry for the delay in posting recipes these past few weeks. I had the pleasure of “crystals” in my right ear being misplaced. Unfortunately, I tripped over a rug in the floor as I was hurriedly doing some housekeeping and the next morning after the fall, the room was spinning like crazy! It was a pleasure to visit one of our local restaurants in Downtown Douglas this week, Fireside Pizza Shop. I attended a wedding recently and it was great to see two young adults committing their lives to each other and to witness the excitement I could visualize in their sparkling eyes! Awe, so “in love”! Good gracious, I’m amazed at the support I’ve received from my viewers on Douglasnow.com and Facebook and I’m very grateful. When you do what you love, it’s easier to do than most tasks. Welcome to my page “At Home with Pam.” I had an opportunity to visit and record a video in the location of “Sweet Magnolia’s Children’s Shop” here in Douglas, Georgia, and to announce them to be our first “Business of the Month” for April. During the 2006-2008 period of time, I wrote a weekly recipe article in our local newspaper, “The Douglas News,” entitled “Cooking with Pam.” I’m not sure how many followers I had but I’ve had many friends and family encourage me to pursue that route again.
