Last night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams put the two most potent offenses in the NFL on display. And Tyreek Hill, maybe the most electrifying player in the league, was right in the middle the scoring onslaught. Much has already been written about the game. Offensive and scoring records fell for both teams. The game, which the Rams won 54-51, is the only game in NFL history in which a team scored 50 or more points and lost. Underneath that umbrella are enough statistics and plot lines to keep NFL pundits busy for…

At the Coffee County Commission’s most recent meeting, commissioners approved a rezoning request from Don Wildes Jr. to rezone 5.3 acres at 1875 Sand Hill Church Road from Commercial to Light Industrial. There is a catch, though – the property cannot be used for any type of event, concert, party, or related facility. According to Wildes, the property will be used for manufacturing utility and cargo trailers. However, some neighbors had expressed concern that the property could eventually house some type of event center. At the meeting Don Wildes Sr. said that under no circumstances would the property be…

If that NFL gig doesn’t work out for Tyreek Hill, he might be able to find a job behind a television camera. And he just may have auditioned for that job Sunday afternoon following his second touchdown catch of the day. Hill, who had seven receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns in Kansas City’s 26-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals, decided to channel his inner Chad Johnson after his second score. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes connected with Hill in the end zone – and in triple coverage at that – for his 31st touchdown pass of the season, a…

During the vote tally at the Coffee County elections office Tuesday night, one voting card was left in a machine, which means those votes were not transmitted to the Secretary of State’s office that night. The votes were, however, included in the local returns posted at the elections office in Douglas. Officials discovered the oversight Thursday afternoon — about the same time as an attorney with the Stacey Abrams campaign called out Coffee County as one of four Georgia counties with alleged voting irregularities. However, the oversight local officials uncovered and the alleged irregularities mentioned by Abrams’s attorney are…

“There are 8,352 prophetic verses in the Bible. Many of these deal with the nation of Israel. We will discuss the entire Middle East as well as America and Israel, and how they are intertwined prophetically. There has been more prophecy fulfilled in the last 70 years than there has been in the previous 2,000,” says Dr. Sherlock Bally, a world-renowned pastor and the Christian Allies Caucus’s liaison between the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament) and the pastors of North America.
