Mrs. Norma Hernandez, age 53 of Douglas, GA passed away Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023 at her residence following a short illness. Mrs. Fernandez was born to the late Salustio Fransisco Hernandez and to Agueda Esperanza Fernandez. Other than her father, she is also preceded in death by a brother: Bonifacio Hernandez and an infant son. She was a homemaker and member of Iglesia de Dios Ultima Ilamada. On Sunday, April 30, 2023, the GBI Region 4 Douglas Office was requested by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office after they responded to a 911 call regarding the eight-month-old not breathing.
