Allen Eugene Harless was born to Aubrey and Helen Harless on March 19th, 1949, in Shelbyville, Illinois. During his school years he participated in 4-H and other clubs. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1967. In 1971 he graduated from The University of Illinois with a degree in Animal Husbandry. While a student there he was a member of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity. He was also preceded in death by his son: George Kirkland, III. A traffic stop at the intersection of Ward Street and Chester Avenue yielded a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and two arrests. According to an incident report from the sheriff’s office, officers stopped a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche for failure to maintain lane. Two occupants were in the vehicle — Tonya Renee Lopez, 40, the driver, and a passenger, Wanda Marie Hollinger, 55.
