Johnnie Dianne Merritt Carter, age 71, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Carter was born on June 15, 1951 in Tift County, GA to the late John Mitchell Merritt and Sarepta Elise Cleghorn Merritt. Survivors include: One Son; James M. (Lyndsey) Carter of Alma, GA, One Sister; Sally (Herman) Chaney of Ocilla, GA, One Granddaughter; Ashley (Austen) Cobb of Nicholls, GA, Three Grandsons; Gage Dylan Harris, John Logan Harris, and John Morgan Harris.
