Anita Josefine Flesch Woods, age 83, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Woods was born on October 23, 1939, in Trier, Germany. Survivors include: Son, Charles (Renae) Woods of Douglas, GA, Daughter, Heidi (Bart) Myers of Valdosta, GA, Six Grandchildren, Steven (Natalie) Davis, Justin (Tate) Davis, Michele Turner, Charlie Woods, Katlyn (Joey) Wilson, Jessie (Gideon) Vickers, and Four Step Grandchildren, Melina Holbert, Benita (Clint) Lott, Corey Myers, and Nicki Dugans, Several Great Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews. Brayden, a Coffee High School 11th grader and motorcycle drag racer, just recently made history in the PDRA organization by “doubling up” and winning the Pro JR Dragster and Pro Nitrous races. Silo Keith is Wiregrass Tech’s first female welder to compete at the state SkillsUSA competition and earn a medal. She was one of the 47 Wiregrass students who competed in the state-wide competition in Atlanta where she earned a bronze medal in Welding.
