Mr. Joel “Joe” Thomas Rawlins, age 81 of Broxton, GA passed away, early Friday morning, February 10, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Rawlins was born December 24, 1941 to the late Harvey Rawlins and the late Mary Harper Rawlins. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Nichael Rawlins and Stephen Clay Rawlins. Mr. Rawlins, a native of Coffee County, was a mechanic with Douglas Asphalt for many years. Mary Clyde Tanner Scott passed away on February 7, 2023 at her home in Douglas, Georgia. She was 101 years old.
